My name is Marley Moody. I am a filmmaker and photographer based in California and currently a first-year film production student at Santa Barbara City College.

Before college, I studied multimedia arts through the MAD (Multimedia Arts and Design) Academy at Santa Barbara High School, where I trained in web design, graphic design, photography, and filmmaking. I’m proficient in the following Adobe softwares: Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom.

I was also apart of MAD Studio, the academy’s production and graphic design leadership team. I helped manage camera, audio, and lighting setups for guest speakers and events, and I designed promotional graphics for upcoming projects and merchandise.

I am honored to have been a directing finalist in the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 10-10-10 screenwriting and filmmaking mentorship and competition.

I plan to continue developing my work as a visual storyteller, driven by my passion for creating impactful stories and advocating for greater representation within the film industry.
